Hadrosaur Dorsal Vertebra - Hell Creek Formation
This is a real, authentic fully complete dorsal mid-section vertebra from a hadrosaur dinosaur, (or cf. Edmontosaurus, the common Hell Creek duck-billed form). Hadrosaurids were herbivorous, duck-billed dinosaurs that lived in herds during the Late Cretaceous (~68-66 million years ago), using their beaks and teeth to process plant material.
Found in the iconic Hell Creek Formation (Montana or nearby exposures), this specimen comes from the final chapter of the non-avian dinosaur era, just before the K-Pg extinction event. The Hell Creek is renowned for well-preserved fossils from environments like floodplains and river systems.

Thank you for supporting ethical fossil collecting.
Suitable for paleontology collections, natural history displays, educational pieces, cabinets of curiosity, or as a meaningful gift for dinosaur enthusiasts. Hadrosaurid tail vertebrae like this provide insight into the structure and flexibility of these large herbivores' tails, which helped with balance and locomotion.
